Liturgical Accoutrements

Cassock and scapular, alb and black shoes,
Chasuble, thurible, acolyte twos,
Crucifer, thurifer, server and Pres.
Gospeller, liturgist (do what he says),
Boatman and batman, precentor and choir,
Incense and stoles and some charcoal for fire,
Bell, Book and Candle,
Water and Wine,
Altar and linen
And that should be fine,
Psalmody, canticles, antiphons, chants,
Corporals, wafers, liturgical dance,
Hymnody, lavabo, cib-or-i-um
And a nice statue of Jesus’s mum.
Hang on a minute, that’s ringing a bell…
Don’t forget Jesus, we need him as well.
